Co. Dance Payment Due December 7

Co Dance payments are due on Sunday, December 7, 2008.  This will be the first competition for the Mini team!

The remaining rehearsals will focus on refining our current dances, using understudies in place of missing dancers and working on the Mini Team dance. I need to let everyone know that I (Tami) will NOT be at Co. Dance this year. I really don’t want to miss this however Alyssa and I need to make a trip down to Southern California that can’t be done at any other time. Bethany will be in charge and we’ll see if Carrie can help out again. If not, we have the greatest group of experienced parents to help us out.

Dance Understudies:

- Maya will replace Alyssa in Blue Light

- Isabel O. and Chloe K will replace Alyssa and Tina H. in “My Money”

- Chloe K and Natalie will replace Alyssa and Tina H. in “Viva La Vida”

If you have a convention scholarship from last year, please turn in your certificate along with your Participant Release & Waiver form and competition fees. I show that the following dancers have scholarships:

  • Michelle , Melanie and Josh, Emily. Chloe B. (Anyone else?)

Below are the general fees and below that are the fees for all the dances that are competing. If I’m missing a dance, please let me know immediately. Your PC account will be billed accordingly. If you have a duet/trio that is ready to compete and your are not listed below, please let Tami know as soon as possible.

*Please note that Co. Dance requires that you audition by age however it is possible to dance in another room and then move to the appropriate room to audition. Since they audition by age, I recommend that you just sign up for the workshop by age. I will automatically do this. If you prefer to do your workshop classes in another category, please let me know by December 7.
I predict that Co. Dance will be fairly small this year. It is taking place at the same time as L.A. Dance Magic and that convention has a pretty loyal following. Also, the competition fees for Co. Dance are pretty high.
Competition Fees: No solos; Duo/Trio – $47 per dancer; Group (4-9 dancers) – $30 per dancer
Line (10-15 dancers – $30 per dancer; Extended Line (16-24 dancers ) – $30 per dancer;
Production (25+) – $30 per dancer
Note: There will be a $12 (Workshop) and $4 (per dance competition) late fee charge for payment received after the deadline.

Other: All participants are required to fill out a Participant Release & Waiver (if over 18 use Adult Release & Waiver ). Please fill this out and return it with your fees by Sunday, December 7, 2008

Note: If you received a scholarship, please provide Tami with a copy of your scholarship certificate so she can submit it with the registration fees.
